She is committed to building the groups and networks that make a real impact, listening to local Republicans, and making sure their voices are heard at the state level.
Every legal vote must count, and every voter must have confidence that elections are conducted fairly and transparently. Mary Kate helped fight to protect Tennessee's Republican primary — pushing back against efforts to replace it with a caucus system that would have limited voting to a single day, leaving out anyone who was sick, traveling for work, serving overseas in the military, elderly, or simply unable to make it on that one day. She doesn't fear the voters — she wants more of them participating. A strong Republican Party is one that protects the integrity of its primary while giving every eligible Republican a meaningful opportunity to participate.
